Session NEIPA

My wife loves NEIPAs. Loves them. Her birthday party was coming up, so naturally I wanted to make one for her. Her only request was to turn it down a bit from the 7% monsters I usually make to something a little less challenging to her friends who don’t usually drink beers anywhere near that high in ABV. I asked Mike and Noel about it and here is what we came up with: a 5.1% Session NEIPA.

This beer was a huge hit at her birthday party. Everyone enjoyed it, including people who “don’t normally drink IPAs”. I was a bit worried that the beer might taste like it was missing something, but honestly it seemed very full and extremely drinkable. I wouldn’t hesitate to make another.
